Introducing Crypto-Llama! We've had this concept on the back-burner for a while, so it's nice to finally put something together. As her name suggests, Crypto-Llama will head our cryptography comics department.
RSA is one of many possible implementations of public key encryption. Other examples include Diffie-Hellman key exchange, ElGamal encryption, and the Cramer–Shoup cryptosystem. All of these algorithms share the ideas of having both a public key and a private key as well as a one-way function.
Thanks to our friends at Life Through a Mathematician's Eyes for this comic suggestion!
