Our first human cameo (alongside puppy Doug!) is by Emmy Noether, who made important contributions to both math and physics. Her work on ring ideals and on Noetherian rings laid the groundwork for modern abstract algebra, while the well-known Noether's Theorem is a cornerstone of theoretical physics.
